On December 1st, Leaps and Bounds Family Services will kick-off its 2nd annual “Warm Hands ...
Warm Hearts” holiday campaign to help the children and families of our
agency stay warm this season.
The cold winter months can be the
most difficult time of year. Many of us take for granted the simple act
of placing a warm pair of gloves or mittens on our hands to provide
protection from the cold and wind.We forget that many in our nearby
neighborhoods do not have the resources to afford these items.
The
response from the business community has been one of support and
encouragement. Several area businesses have allowed us to provide a box
for participants to drop off their donations.It’s simple to participate!
All you need do is donate one brand-new (or gently used) winter hat,
scarf, gloves or mittens.
